I lived near a dropzone while growing up in the ‘60's and spent many weekends and evenings watching jumpers under round canopies. Skydiving was one of those things I put on my list of things to do before I ‘got old’.
Having vowed never to get old, or at least never grow up, I took the AFF course at Skydive Delmarva in the summer of 2000. I only made 18 jumps before winter came, and since then have made about a hundred jumps a year, recently celebrating my 500th jump on an SCR formation dive organized by Mike and completed with a lot of good friends.
When Mike and Grant started RW Concepts a good core of jumpers started getting better at completing good RW jumps and I am glad to have been one of those to benefit from their organizing, skills, and encouragement. I have always enjoyed helping them work with new jumpers and in turn helping those new jumpers progress from 2-ways on to larger formations.
I am happy to have been asked to join the RW Concepts team and am available to work with new jumpers who want to start working on their RW skills and progress to jumping in larger groups. I am at the DZ most weekends, and during the week when I occasionally ‘play hooky’ from work. See you soon,
